Day 9 // 365 Days of Gratitude

Today I am grateful for my family. They are truly my anchor in this big, big world. They are the people I feel the most at ease with, and for that, I am incredibly grateful.

On China’s national day, I didn’t do much aside from organize some clothes and lounge around. When I told my dad, ‘Today was a boring day.’ He reminded me that a slow, lazy day doesn’t have to be taken as boring. I guess I’m still not good at this whole do-less, feel more thing. It is a lifelong practice!

My parents and I went to a vegetarian restaurant for dinner. My favorite dish was the 水煮三宝, which is a veg version of 水煮鱼/水煮牛肉. The dish is 麻辣 which means numbing spicy.
